Job Overview

We seek a skilled Mechanical Engineer to become part of our construction team in the UAE, specializing in HVAC and plumbing systems across residential, commercial, or high-rise projects. The candidate will be responsible for managing mechanical tasks from planning through execution, ensuring compliance with project requirements, quality benchmarks, and established timelines.

Key Duties

• Supervise and manage mechanical activities on construction sites.
• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC and plumbing systems.
• Analyze and review mechanical and shop drawings along with technical specifications.
• Collaborate with consultants, subcontractors, architects, and cross-disciplinary engineers.
• Track site progress ensuring adherence to approved schedules.
• Guarantee mechanical installations meet local authority rules and industry standards.
• Perform site inspections and address technical challenges during construction phases.
• Examine material submissions and confirm approved materials are used on site.
• Compile progress reports and actively contribute in project meetings.
• Uphold health, safety, and quality protocols throughout project delivery.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Previous construction experience within the UAE is compulsory.
• Hands-on knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems is essential.
• At least 5 years of relevant construction project experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge of MEP coordination and on-site execution.
• Experience reviewing shop drawings and coordinating with consultants.
• Familiarity with residential, commercial, or mixed-use development projects.
• Strong analytical and project management capabilities.
• Understanding of UAE-specific construction standards and regulations.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks in high-pressure environments.
