Job Overview
Axcent Air Flow Technologies is seeking a Mechanical Project and Production Engineer for their Bengaluru location. The role involves comprehensive production planning and management, including overseeing subcontracting, procurement, and dispatch procedures.
Responsibilities
- Plan and control production activities efficiently.
- Manage subcontractors and outsourced work effectively.
- Procure necessary raw materials timely to ensure smooth operations.
- Oversee dispatch processes to maintain delivery schedules.
- Handle shop floor operations along with manpower management.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Hands-on knowledge or experience in sheet metal fabrication, welding, painting, and powder coating.
- Skills in production planning, scheduling, assessing raw material requirements, and material planning.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and design documents accurately.
- Focused on meeting daily and monthly production targets steadily.
- Report regularly on production status and quickly address any issues arising in the process.
- Implement strategies to boost productivity while minimizing costs.
- Maintain a safe work environment with a strong focus on quality standards on the shop floor.
Language Requirements
Proficiency in Kannada, Hindi, and English is mandatory for effective communication.
