- Portfolio showcasing CAD drawings and design work.
- Any practical internship or project experience in mechanical design.
Ideal Candidate Traits
- Derives fulfillment from repetitive refinement of designs over several iterations rather than task variety.
- Detail-focused and systematic problem solver.
- Capable of working independently after training with minimal supervision.
- Dependable and punctual in meeting strict batch delivery deadlines.
- Thrives in cycles of intense work followed by scheduled recovery breaks.
Unsuitable Candidate Profiles

- Candidates looking for diverse, rapidly changing engineering disciplines weekly or daily.
- Applicants awaiting other job offers.
- Individuals requiring highly flexible hours incompatible with fixed batch schedules.
Why Join KIT?
- Structured paid vacations: enjoy over 30 paid vacation days annually aligned with planned batch breaks rather than accrued leave without use.
- Opportunity to grow an impressive and diverse mechanical design portfolio.
- Clearly defined career advancement path through three tiers (Junior Designer to Lead Designer) with specified salary milestones and merit-based increments beyond Tier 3.
- Performance-linked salary increases rewarding quality output over tenure.
Position Details
- Employment type: Full-Time, Remote position based in Egypt.
- Work schedule consists of 8 hours per day, 6 days per week, mimicking office structure despite remote work.
- Compensation includes a base salary of 10,000 EGP, a screen allowance of 1,500 EGP activated after 101 working days, and a performance allowance up to 1,500 EGP subject to a three-month performance review.
Application & Selection Process
- Evaluation emphasizes attitude and work ethic foremost.
- Academic achievements in core mechanical engineering courses are reviewed.
- Technical skills assessed via CAD portfolio or software proficiency self-rating.
- Honest and candid responses required concerning work habits during the selection.
- Interviews assess personality and cultural fit.
- Shortlisted candidates undertake short design assignments mimicking actual tasks to confirm suitability before contract offers.
