Role Summary

This full-time, on-site position in Dubai requires managing and executing MEP works involving installation, testing, commissioning, and upkeep of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in commercial, residential, and mixed-use properties. Key duties include interpreting technical drawings, collaborating with site supervisors and multidisciplinary teams, ensuring compliance with local codes and safety standards, and resolving technical challenges on location. Responsibilities also involve preparing straightforward reports, documenting progress, assisting inspection processes, and coordinating with project management to maintain quality standards and timelines. Maintaining tools, following company protocols, and engaging in continuous improvements in building services delivery are essential.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems and coordination for integrated building services.
• Competence in Electrical Engineering and building services for the safe design, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems.
• Expertise in plumbing and general MEP installation to handle water supply, drainage, and related systems according to applicable codes.
• Technical diploma, degree, or equivalent certification in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services Engineering or a recognized MEP/electrical trade qualification.
• Hands-on site experience in MEP work on commercial or residential construction projects, ideally within the UAE or GCC.
• Familiarity with regional building codes, safety practices, and standards for electrical and plumbing work.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications; knowledge of basic MEP design software is advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary site teams.
• Readiness to work on-site following project schedules while maintaining rigorous safety and quality standards.
