Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee the commissioning processes of mechanical systems in data centers, which include chillers, CRAH/CRAC units, CDU, cooling towers, pump skids, and the implementation of redundant A/B pipework pathways.
  • Conduct HVAC functional and integrated tests using both full and partial IT load simulation to validate performance.
  • Execute heat load testing and verify thermal performance to ensure efficient operation of systems.
  • Manage the commissioning of fire and life safety systems within data centers, including VESDA detectors, clean agent suppression systems such as Novec and FM-200, fire alarm setups, and their interlocks with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.
  • Perform integrated life-safety system tests during IST (Integrated System Testing) scenarios.
  • Possess strong familiarity with relevant regulations and standards including NFPA codes, local civil defense requirements, and international safety standards.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
  • Minimum of 12 years of relevant professional experience in mechanical commissioning or a related field.
