Role overview
BytePlus is a newer business unit within ByteDance focused on serving global enterprise clients with advanced technology solutions. In this role, you will work with enterprise customers and partners to help shape and scale next-generation business outcomes using ByteDance’s intelligent technologies. The position is centered on growing partner-led business in the MEA region, with a strong emphasis on AI image and video solutions.
What you will do
- Develop and manage a strong partner ecosystem that includes channel partners, resellers, and strategic alliances to increase adoption of AI-based image and video offerings.
- Find, recruit, and prepare new partners such as agencies, system integrators, media companies, and cloud providers so they can effectively sell BytePlus solutions.
- Drive joint selling efforts with partners across enterprise and public-sector accounts to build new relationships and generate partner-led revenue.
- Position ByteDance AI models as a practical, scalable, and cost-efficient alternative to traditional video production workflows.
- Own the pipeline and revenue growth agenda, ensuring a steady flow of opportunities through both existing and new routes to market.
- Manage the full partner lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, enablement, and ongoing performance tracking.
- Work with cloud partners to create joint go-to-market plans that help generate and accelerate pipeline for public cloud customers.
- Partner closely with internal sales and pre-sales teams to co-sell and close partner-originated opportunities.
- Monitor partner KPIs, MDF usage, and progress toward revenue goals.
- Represent the company at partner events, quarterly business reviews, and executive-level meetings.
Experience and qualifications
- You should bring a solid background in B2B technology sales, partnership development, or channel management, with proven ability to create new market routes from the ground up.
- Hands-on understanding of AI, digital media, or cloud-based solutions is important for success in this role.
- You need to be comfortable influencing stakeholders without direct reporting lines and working in ecosystem-led sales models.
- At least 5 years of experience in channel sales, alliances, or partner management is required.
- Demonstrated success in building and expanding cloud partnerships is essential.
- Strong commercial judgment and the ability to shape joint business cases are needed.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills across both external partners and internal teams are expected.
- Preferred candidates may have experience selling through partner networks into enterprise, government, startup, or AI-native environments.
- Additional value is given to those with strong knowledge of AI, media, advertising, or MarTech ecosystems.
- Experience with Generative AI is a notable advantage.
- Background in cloud or SaaS is preferred, and hyperscaler experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with the Gulf or wider MENA market is beneficial.
