Role Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable MBA Admissions & Community Consultant with expertise in the Indian MBA landscape. The ideal candidate will remain current on key aspects of MBA programs, entrance exams like CAT, important deadlines, placement statistics, eligibility criteria, and industry trends relevant to prospective MBA students.
Key Responsibilities
- Continuously track and share updates related to MBA entrance exams, application processes, deadlines, interview shortlists, results, and admissions.
- Conduct detailed research on MBA colleges, including programs, eligibility, admissions criteria, cut-offs, fees, placements, scholarships, and available specializations.
- Keep the student community well-informed on significant developments concerning MBA admissions and related topics.
- Investigate various MBA career domains such as Finance, Marketing, Consulting, HR, Operations, Analytics, and Product Management.
- Review and organize existing MBA admissions and college content to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Identify common student queries and curate information that aids aspirants in making informed decisions.
- Collaborate with teams across content, product, and design departments for MBA-focused initiatives.
- Provide support on research, content development, community engagement, and strategic projects.
Candidate Profile
- Strong knowledge of the Indian MBA admissions ecosystem.
- Active engagement with B-schools, CAT and other MBA entrance exams, placements, and admission news.
- Exceptional research abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
- Capable of verifying data from trustworthy sources rather than relying solely on internet information.
- Proficient written communication skills to simplify and convey information to students effectively.
- Proactive attitude to anticipate important MBA updates without prompt.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience preparing for CAT or other MBA entrance exams.
- Currently pursuing or completed an MBA degree.
- Background in MBA admissions counseling, Education Technology, student communities, or MBA-related content creation.
- Active participation in MBA admission communities and monitoring of college announcements and student discussions.
Compensation and Work Model
This full-time role offers remote work flexibility with a monthly salary ranging between ₹30,000 and ₹35,000 based on experience and fit.
