Overview
Join Meta's Reality Labs, a fast-paced division featuring Wearables, Virtual Reality, and Horizon products, as a Strategy, Planning & Operations Manager. This critical role requires orchestrating the infrastructure, processes, and capabilities enabling the marketing team to expand effectively while staying aligned with business demands. You will bridge strategic planning, operational excellence, and AI-driven methodologies, ensuring prioritized execution and clear leadership visibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive integrated marketing planning for Reality Labs products, coordinating annual and quarterly cycles aligned with product roadmaps and goals.
- Establish and manage operational frameworks and governance to streamline campaign execution across wearables and spatial computing lines.
- Define KPIs for marketing spend, analyze cross-channel data to extract insights guiding leadership decisions.
- Collaborate with finance and marketing leads on budgeting, allocation, and forecasting to maximize impact.
- Identify and resolve planning inefficiencies, improving coordination across marketing, product, and go-to-market teams.
- Create executive communications such as strategy briefs, planning overviews, and performance reports tailored for diverse leadership levels.
- Facilitate alignment among marketing sub-teams and cross-functional partners through goal setting, prioritization, and accountability mechanisms.
- Implement AI-enhanced workflows to optimize planning, reporting, and operations, promoting organizational adoption of these innovations.
- Detect and mitigate strategic risks within marketing operations to ensure uninterrupted campaign delivery.
- Act as a subject matter expert in AR/VR marketing operations, advising on best practices in planning and performance measurement.
Minimum Qualifications
- Manage GTM milestone tracking and readiness for key launches ensuring accountability and transparency.
- Own and coordinate executive review processes across functions and leadership levels.
- Lead annual and mid-year planning including goal setting and portfolio prioritization.
- Develop investment cases and lead resource allocation discussions aligning with key priorities.
- Build cross-functional alignment with product, design, sales, finance, and others.
- Anticipate and clarify potential friction points to enhance collaboration and expedite decision-making.
- Define evolving operational workflows and decision rights in a growing organization.
- Support talent and headcount planning and prioritize hiring needs.
- Advocate for and integrate AI-driven tools and automation to enhance team efficiency and output quality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven success integrating AI tools to redesign workflows, improving efficiency and quality.
- Experience applying ethical AI practices including risk assessments, bias mitigation, and quality control.
- Continuous development in AI skills such as prompt engineering and agent orchestration, staying abreast of emerging technologies.
- Experience fostering AI adoption and workflow transformation within marketing or operations entities.
- Track record of scaling operational procedures in fast-moving, complex environments.
- Strong fluency in marketing and go-to-market processes.
- Comprehensive understanding of end-to-end marketing organization dynamics.
- Background in consumer technology, hardware, or retail marketing sectors.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to synthesize diverse inputs into clear executive recommendations.

Compensation
Annual salary ranges from $152,000 to $213,000, with additional bonus, equity, and benefits. Individual pay is based on qualifications, experience, skills, and location. Benefits details are available separately.
