The Role and Mission
As we expand our successful B2B platform and launch a new Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) platform, we're seeking a motivated and adaptable Marketing Coordinator. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this part-time role supports executing a comprehensive Go-To-Market strategy for the D2C segment while advancing marketing efforts for the core B2B platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the execution, tracking, and coordination of multichannel launch campaigns aimed at the D2C audience.
- Identify, approach, and manage relationships with brand ambassadors, content creators, and affiliate partners to boost user acquisition.
- Engage with consumers across digital communities to foster an active, purpose-focused user base.
- Plan, create, and schedule organic content on platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Pinterest, using social scheduling tools like Later, Buffer, or Hootsuite.
- Stay updated with TikTok and Reel trends to swiftly develop engaging videos and compelling captions.
- Design branded assets such as marketing collateral, short videos, social posts, and presentations using Canva and AI copywriting and image creation tools.
- Monitor and respond authentically to messages and comments ensuring consistent brand voice.
- Coordinate logistics for impact content creation, including filming and travel support for the CEO and team.
- Help develop email marketing campaigns and optimize automated workflows to nurture both consumer and retail leads.
- Use AI tools to research, write, and publish SEO-optimized blog posts and educational content enhancing search visibility.
- Analyze channel performance data to generate actionable reports.
- Maintain content calendars ensuring timely and cohesive campaign rollouts.
- Provide additional support for industry research, NGO coordination, sponsor relations, and events as needed.
Success Metrics
- Timely execution of launch activities tied to the D2C platform.
- Growth in consumer user acquisition and affiliate engagement.
- Increased inbound inquiries and conversions via organic B2B social strategies and email workflows.
- Consistent production of quality on-brand content across all channels.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a driven marketing generalist with at least two years of experience, comfortable handling both creative and operational duties within a fast-paced, impact-focused environment. Autonomy and versatility are essential, as is a passion for social and environmental responsibility.
Qualifications & Experience
- Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, or equivalent marketing/content leadership experience.
- Demonstrated history developing and running digital marketing or social media campaigns.
- Experience or knowledge of affiliate marketing, creator partnerships, or influencer management.
- Proven skills in marketing copywriting including emails and social media captions.
- Proficiency with design tools such as Canva; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
Skills & Attributes
- Clear, concise writing aligned with target consumer tone and emotionally engaging language.
- Strong visual design sense capable of independently producing clean, modern multimedia content.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to craft engaging and informative copy.
- Ability to understand broad Go-To-Market strategies and execute detailed day-to-day marketing tasks.
- Highly organized with excellent interpersonal skills to manage multiple stakeholders efficiently.
- Deep commitment to sustainability, ethics, and business impact for people and planet.
Preferred but Not Required
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related disciplines.
- Photography and video editing experience.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms like Shopify and email marketing tools such as Klaviyo.
- Experience using AI-assisted copywriting workflows.
