Role overview

Meta is looking for a Marketing Manager to spearhead wearables marketing in India. The position covers market strategy, integrated go-to-market leadership, and full ownership of creative and media direction. You will work closely with Product Marketing, Retail, Sales/Partnerships, Communications, and outside agencies to build category momentum, deliver strong launches, and support ongoing growth.

The role also carries responsibility for business health tracking. That includes monitoring sales, leading indicators for brand health and performance, spotting risks early, and escalating important mitigation actions and leadership decisions with clear context.

Key responsibilities

  • Create the India strategy for category leadership by defining a multi-quarter plan covering target audiences, channel roles, and investment priorities, while shaping culturally relevant narratives and use cases for India.
  • Lead end-to-end launch and GTM execution for launches and peak moments, including planning, launch readiness, message alignment, cross-functional governance, and post-launch learning.
  • Own the creative direction from strategy through execution by building the messaging hierarchy, writing strong briefs, and guiding creative development with agencies and production partners.
  • Ensure creative work maintains a high standard of quality and effectiveness across all channels.
  • Take ownership of media planning and budget allocation across the funnel, working with media partners and internal teams to launch, measure, and optimize campaigns against KPIs, including testing and experimentation.
  • Drive retail and partner amplification by partnering with Retail on in-store execution such as demo strategy, merchandising, training input, retail events, and measurement.
  • Work with Sales and Partnerships to build co-marketing plans with key accounts such as marketplaces, large-format retail, specialty electronics, and operators where relevant, including partner toolkits and governance.
  • Run operating cadences such as weekly check-ins, monthly reviews, and QBR inputs, while tracking readiness, partner execution, brand and demand performance, and budget pacing.
  • Surface risks early, lead mitigation plans with owners and timelines, and escalate major issues with concise framing around impact, options, trade-offs, and decision requests.
  • Manage budget and resources through planning, pacing, scenario modelling, and ROI-focused prioritization across launches, always-on activity, retail, and partner programs.

Minimum qualifications

  • Strong experience leading market-level strategy and execution in India.
  • Hands-on ownership of media strategy and budget management, including performance tracking and optimization.
  • Ability to present recommendations, trade-offs, and decision points to senior stakeholders, especially in ambiguous situations.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience applying responsible and ethical AI practices, including risk checks, bias mitigation, and quality or accuracy review.
  • Ongoing development of AI skills such as prompt and context engineering, agent orchestration, and awareness of emerging AI tools.
  • Experience managing partner GTM programs with major accounts, including marketplaces, large-format retail, specialty retail, and operators, along with co-marketing governance.
  • Ability to use AI tools to redesign workflows, improve efficiency, and deliver measurable quality gains.
  • Experience with incrementality testing, brand lift studies, and mixed-method measurement approaches.
