Role overview

Kilkenny Design is looking for a highly organised and imaginative Marketing Executive who can take initiative and help deliver brand and retail campaigns across digital, social and in-store touchpoints. Based in Dublin, this permanent role sits within a busy marketing team and contributes to customer engagement, brand activations and omni-channel activity that supports commercial performance. The position reports to the Senior Brand Manager.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare and coordinate marketing materials and campaign assets for digital, social and print use.
  • Assist with creating, editing and scheduling organic social media content.
  • Support the Senior Brand Manager by briefing the design team on retail and digital creative requirements.
  • Oversee the movement of marketing assets across retail, e-commerce and omni-channel channels.
  • Help plan and run in-store events and brand activation activities.
  • Work with brand partners on campaign artwork, timelines and promotional plans.
  • Organise the production of in-store print collateral and point-of-sale materials for launches and campaigns.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and external agencies to keep campaigns on track and effective.
  • Keep campaign trackers, schedules and project records up to date.
  • Assist with budget monitoring and invoice administration for marketing work.
  • Refresh presentation materials and reports for the Head of Marketing and Senior Brand Manager.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support campaign rollout and execution.
  • Contribute to wider social content activity, including occasional participation in campaign or retail content when needed.
  • Help other teams understand and improve social media content creation practices.
  • Ensure brand standards remain consistently high during asset review and approval processes.

Required experience and skills

  • At least 3 years of experience in marketing, brand, or a coordination-focused role.
  • Retail or omni-channel experience is an advantage.
  • A bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Strong enthusiasm for marketing and social media, with awareness of trends and key consumer calendar moments.
  • Good working knowledge of social platforms such as Instagram and TikTok.
  • Ability to interpret analytics and make simple video edits within social tools.
  • Strong planning, organisation and project coordination skills.
  • Clear communication and the ability to manage stakeholders well.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the capacity to juggle multiple priorities at once.
  • Hands-on experience in social content production and marketing coordination.
  • Comfort using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace and presentation software.
  • A collaborative, positive, flexible and proactive working style.
  • Creative thinking paired with commercial awareness.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment.
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
