About the company

Fundmaster is a well-established mortgage advisory business in New Zealand with more than 13 years of experience supporting clients to reach their property ambitions. Operating from Epsom in Auckland, the company works across mortgage broking, KiwiSaver, and wealth advisory services in both New Zealand and Australia.

Role overview

This is a practical, high-responsibility marketing position where you will take full ownership of Fundmaster’s marketing activity. The role spans strategy, content, digital campaigns, CRM operations, events, and leadership support, with the goal of strengthening the brand and creating quality leads across NZ and Australia.

Key responsibilities

  • Create and deliver the overall marketing plan to build brand visibility and bring in qualified prospects.
  • Produce, schedule, and share content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, email, and the company website.
  • Record, edit, and manage video assets such as reels, client stories, educational clips, and promotional material.
  • Set up and maintain content calendars to keep publishing consistent across channels.
  • Run and improve paid campaigns on Meta, Google, and LinkedIn with a focus on lead generation and return on investment.
  • Create and refine landing pages, lead magnets, email sequences, and customer journey flows.
  • Track marketing leads, ensure prompt transfer to advisers, and monitor conversion activity through the CRM.
  • Administer the CRM, including lead tagging, automation setup, reporting, and data cleanliness.
  • Review campaign results and produce weekly and monthly reports with actionable insights.
  • Plan and deliver seminars, webinars, networking sessions, client events, and community initiatives.
  • Coordinate with photographers, videographers, designers, printers, and other outside suppliers.
  • Update the website regularly and keep it SEO-friendly and current.
  • Prepare marketing materials such as brochures, presentations, guides, email templates, and sales collateral.
  • Watch competitor activity, industry developments, and market trends to uncover growth opportunities.
  • Hire, train, and supervise marketing interns or junior team members when needed.
  • Make sure all promotional activity follows applicable financial services advertising and compliance rules.
  • Look for ways to streamline work using AI, automation, and newer marketing tools.
  • Manage the marketing budget and focus spending on measurable business outcomes.
  • Protect and strengthen the Fundmaster brand across every customer interaction.

Requirements

  • Strong ability to create engaging content and tell compelling stories in both written and video formats.
  • Comfortable shooting and guiding short-form video content for social platforms.
  • Hands-on experience running Meta Ads and Google Ads campaigns.
  • Working knowledge of CRM platforms; experience with Zoho CRM is an advantage.
  • Excellent copywriting skills for advertisements, emails, social media, and website content.
  • Solid project coordination and organisation skills.
  • Data-led approach with the ability to interpret marketing numbers and respond to performance trends.
  • Self-driven, proactive, and able to perform well in a busy, fast-moving environment.
  • Ability to speak Hindi or Punjabi is mandatory.

This is an office-based role located in Epsom, Auckland.
