Role overview

This position sits within the Sales & Marketing function at St. Regis Hotels & Resorts in West Bay, Doha. The role focuses on strengthening brand visibility, supporting revenue growth, and helping maintain strong guest relationships while delivering the polished service standards associated with the brand.

Key duties

  • Build awareness of the brand both inside and outside the hotel.
  • Use effective selling methods to drive revenue while preserving guest loyalty.
  • Contact prospective owners by phone to arrange preview package sales and tours.
  • Encourage guests and callers to book or attend sales presentation packages and tours.
  • Clearly explain the conditions and requirements for attending a sales presentation.
  • Check whether potential participants meet the eligibility criteria before scheduling Marriott Vacation Club tours.
  • Decide on and issue complimentary items or gestures for guests, such as reward points or show tickets, in recognition of their patronage.
  • Handle routine administrative tasks for the Sales & Marketing team, including filing, email correspondence, typing, and faxing.
  • Receive, document, and pass on messages accurately and in full.

Additional responsibilities

  • Support managers in training, coaching, evaluating, counseling, and motivating team members.
  • Act as a positive example and the first contact point for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment and Open Door Policy process.
  • Follow all company rules, standards, and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, professional uniform and personal appearance.
  • Protect confidential business information and safeguard the privacy and security of guests and coworkers.
  • Greet every guest in line with company service standards and respond proactively to guest needs.
  • Communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing, and answer telephone calls with proper etiquette.
  • Build constructive working relationships and support colleagues in achieving shared goals.
  • Listen carefully and respond appropriately to the concerns of teammates.
  • Meet quality expectations and performance standards.
  • Handle objects weighing up to 10 pounds with or without assistance.
  • Carry out other reasonable duties assigned by supervisors.

Preferred qualifications

The employer prefers candidates with a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of relevant work experience. No supervisory background is required, and no license or certification is needed.
