Role Overview
YouTrip Australia is hiring a Marketing Executive to help deliver everyday marketing activity across social media, content, lifecycle communications, and campaign work. This position is designed for someone at the earlier stage of their marketing career who is looking for practical exposure across several channels within a fast-moving fintech and travel setting.
You will partner closely with the local Marketing, Product, and Community teams to help execute campaigns, support new launches, and keep YouTrip’s messaging clear and consistent across important customer touchpoints.
The core purpose of the role is to help users understand, trust, and engage with YouTrip through marketing that is consistent, customer-focused, and well executed.
Campaign and Marketing Delivery
- Contribute to the planning and rollout of marketing campaigns across social, content, and owned channels.
- Help prepare campaign briefs, manage timelines, coordinate assets, and support launch execution.
- Assist with marketing activity for product releases, feature launches, and seasonal travel periods.
- Make sure campaigns go live accurately and on schedule across the relevant channels.
Content and Channel Support
- Support content planning and publication across social media, email, and in-app channels.
- Draft and refine copy for emails, push notifications, landing pages, and simple campaign materials.
- Collaborate with Social and Community teammates to keep messaging aligned and consistent.
- Adapt existing content into different formats for use across multiple channels.
Lifecycle and Customer Journey Support
- Assist with lifecycle communications across onboarding and activation journeys, including email, push, and in-app messaging.
- Help maintain, update, and organise lifecycle flows, templates, and content.
- Support quality checks, scheduling, and basic performance reviews for lifecycle sends.
Reporting and Optimisation
- Monitor simple campaign and channel metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, and engagement.
- Compile summaries and reports to share key learnings with the wider team.
- Support small experiments and iterative improvements based on performance data.
Cross-Functional Coordination and Marketing Operations
- Work with Product, Customer Support, and Community teams to stay aligned on launches and messaging.
- Assist with campaign tracking, documentation, and general marketing operations support.
- Keep calendars, trackers, and campaign assets well organised and current.
About You
This role suits someone with 1 to 3 years of experience in marketing, growth, or communications, whether gained in-house, at an agency, or in a startup. You should be a strong written communicator with excellent attention to detail, comfortable juggling several priorities at once in a busy environment, and motivated to learn across different parts of marketing. A genuine curiosity about how marketing influences user behaviour and business results will be important.
Preferred Background
- Experience working with email, CRM, or lifecycle platforms is an advantage.
- Basic familiarity with social media channels and content production processes is helpful.
- An interest in travel, fintech, or consumer technology would be beneficial.
- Prior experience in a startup or lean team setup is a plus.
