Role overview

Birmingham Panthers is seeking a Marketing Executive to help power the club’s audience growth work. The organisation is creating a modern women’s sports brand that combines high-performance netball, community impact and commercial growth. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys turning plans into action and keeping many moving parts organised.

You will report to the Head of Audience Growth and support the delivery of strategy, campaigns and events. The role brings together marketing coordination, project management, stakeholder alignment and support for matchday and commercial activity. You will work across Marketing, Commercial, Community, Performance and Operations to help ensure everything is delivered smoothly and in line with the Panthers brand.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Walsall, England, United Kingdom. The salary is £28,000 to £30,000 depending on experience.

What you will do

  • Support the planning and delivery of marketing campaigns across ticketing, memberships, merchandise, community activity and events.
  • Keep campaign plans, schedules and delivery timelines updated and well organised.
  • Monitor progress against goals, flag risks early and help keep activity on track, within budget and to a high standard.
  • Work as the coordination point between Marketing, Commercial, Community, Performance and Operations.
  • Make sure internal teams are aligned on priorities, deadlines and deliverables.
  • Organise planning meetings and maintain visibility across active projects.
  • Support a culture of ownership, accountability and delivery.
  • Partner with the Events & Operations team to deliver brand activity at matches and live events.
  • Coordinate marketing activity before, during and after events.
  • Help plan and deliver fan experiences, activations and partner-led activity.
  • Contribute to matchday execution so events feel professional, connected and true to the Panthers brand.
  • Spot opportunities to improve the fan experience and increase attendance.
  • Act as the everyday contact for agencies, suppliers and freelancers.
  • Manage briefs, feedback, approvals and timelines with external partners.
  • Check that outsourced work meets campaign objectives and brand standards.
  • Track delivery and make sure deadlines and quality expectations are met.
  • Support consistent brand messaging across all communications.
  • Coordinate asset needs with internal teams and outside partners.
  • Assist in creating and rolling out marketing materials, presentations and promotional assets.
  • Track performance data for campaigns and maintain reporting on projects and audience-growth activity.
  • Support reporting around ticketing, database growth and engagement.
  • Use insights and feedback to improve future campaigns and activity.

What success looks like

  • Campaigns are delivered reliably, on schedule and to a strong standard.
  • Teams across the organisation stay informed and aligned.
  • Agencies and partners deliver quality work and meet deadlines.
  • Matchdays and events feel organised, engaging and professional.
  • Commercial commitments are activated as planned.
  • The Head of Audience Growth is able to focus on strategy because day-to-day delivery is under control.

What we are looking for

You may come from marketing, campaign delivery, events, project management or account management. More than a single job title, the club is looking for someone who is highly organised, comfortable managing multiple priorities and proactive in solving problems.
