Job description
Role overview
A luxury beauty and high-performance lifestyle brand is preparing for its next growth phase through ambitious international expansion in highly competitive markets. This role is for a Marketing Director who can define the brand’s global presence and influence how it is perceived across key regions.
The position is highly brand-led, with emphasis on building credibility, recognition, and desire through strategic partnerships, press coverage, and culturally resonant storytelling. The right person will balance high-level strategy with hands-on execution, and will think about both brand impact and commercial outcomes.
You will work closely with the founders and senior leadership to own the global brand direction, strengthen reputation, and shape the narrative as the company scales internationally.
What you will be responsible for
- Developing and refining a distinct global brand identity with strong cultural relevance.
- Creating a partnership strategy that grows the brand through the right collaborators, ambassadors, and meaningful cultural moments.
- Leading global public relations, including media relationships, thought leadership, and international brand storytelling.
- Planning and delivering major campaigns for launches, brand milestones, and international activations.
- Setting the overall global marketing strategy across channels, with brand reputation as a central focus.
- Supporting acquisition, retention, and loyalty through integrated growth initiatives.
- Managing global media planning and investment across digital, social, CRM, content, and partnerships.
- Designing smooth customer journeys across web, mobile, retail, and content experiences.
- Leading, developing, and motivating a high-performing international marketing team.
- Working in close partnership with Product, Commercial, and Creative teams to keep every customer touchpoint on-brand.
- Identifying future growth opportunities, especially in North America, Europe, and other priority markets.
What you bring
- Proven experience as a Global Marketing Director or in a comparable senior marketing leadership role within luxury, beauty, or wellness.
- Strong ability to grow brand value through partnerships, PR, and thought leadership rather than relying only on performance marketing.
- A well-established media and press network, with sound judgment on what will earn coverage and cultural impact.
- Experience expanding brands internationally, particularly in the US and Asia.
- Good instinct for partnerships and collaborations that make a luxury brand feel established and desirable.
- Solid knowledge of brand development, CRM, digital growth, and global media planning.
- Strong understanding of luxury consumer behaviour and the cultural differences between markets.
- Confidence in managing significant budgets, forecasts, and performance targets.
- Background in fast-growing, founder-led, entrepreneurial environments.
- A leadership approach that quickly builds trust, attracts strong talent, and commands respect.
Why this opportunity stands out
This is a rare opportunity to influence how a brand is perceived on a global scale. You will help build reputation, relationships, and cultural relevance from the ground up, while shaping the partnerships and press that define market perception. The role offers the chance to help transform an emerging name into a category leader with real long-term influence.
