Position Overview
The Marketing Coordinator / Email Marketing Specialist is tasked with managing marketing campaigns and crafting targeted email communications designed to enhance brand visibility, generate leads, boost customer engagement, and ultimately foster business expansion. This role blends several key functions including campaign organization, content oversight, marketing automation, and thorough performance assessment to ensure efficient, data-backed marketing execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, create, schedule, and implement email marketing campaigns targeting diverse customer segments, ensuring all content aligns with branding, campaign goals, and customer lifecycle strategies.
- Develop and maintain email templates, manage subscriber databases, segment audiences effectively, conduct A/B testing, and refine campaign workflows to maximize engagement and conversion rates.
- Coordinate overarching marketing activities by managing content schedules, supporting social media efforts, assisting in promotional campaigns, event marketing, and product launches to ensure unified messaging across digital platforms.
- Collaborate closely with teams across marketing, sales, product development, design, and customer success to deliver integrated marketing initiatives and improve customer experience.
- Monitor and analyze campaign metrics such as open rates, click-throughs, conversions, unsubscribe rates, engagement, and ROI; produce marketing reports and dashboards; identify trends and recommend performance improvements.
- Support CRM and marketing automation workflows, nurture lead programs, oversee database management, and ensure compliance with email marketing regulations and data privacy standards.
- Stay abreast of latest digital marketing advancements, email marketing best practices, and emerging technologies for continuous improvement in marketing outcomes.
Qualifications and Skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of digital and email marketing, content marketing, campaign management, customer segmentation, lead generation, marketing automation, and strategies for customer engagement.
- Experience using email marketing platforms, CRM systems, marketing automation tools, CMS, spreadsheets, analytics, and reporting software; familiarity with HTML email templates, SEO, Google Analytics, and A/B testing is beneficial.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving aptitude to interpret data, assess campaign effectiveness, identify areas for optimization, and generate data-driven advice.
- Understanding of email deliverability, lifecycle marketing, customer journey mapping, lead nurturing, compliance requirements, and best practices for digital communications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to develop compelling, brand-aligned marketing materials, prepare professional reports, and collaborate efficiently with diverse teams.
- Exceptional organizational skills, creativity, attention to detail, adaptability, and capacity to juggle multiple campaigns and deadlines while maintaining high-quality deliverables in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
