Job description
About the Company
Live Your Message (LYM) is an online education company focused on helping people turn big ideas into action. Its programs use an interactive “Choose Your Own Adventure” learning model designed to help learners reach more people, earn more, and create greater impact. The company says it created The Experience Formula, a course-building approach that has driven significantly higher student success than traditional models by combining adult learning theory, gamification, behavioral design, and motivation psychology.
The business reports strong growth, including 83% growth during the pandemic and four consecutive appearances on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies in America.
Role Overview
This is a remote, full-time Marketing Content & Launch Manager position for someone who can protect brand quality, coordinate launches, and keep cross-functional marketing work on track. The role sits at the center of content, design, tech, support, paid media, partnerships, and leadership, ensuring campaigns and launches are executed smoothly and to a high standard.
What You’ll Do
- Learn the company’s brand voice, standards, and marketing approach quickly and apply them across all customer-facing materials.
- Review, quality-check, and improve marketing assets such as emails, landing pages, sales pages, webinar content, videos, social posts, and related collateral.
- Partner closely with the CMO to turn strategic direction and feedback into clear actions for the team.
- Own launch execution from planning through completion, keeping deliverables aligned, on time, and on brand.
- Coordinate between content, design, tech, customer support, paid media, partnerships, and leadership to maintain momentum and clarity.
- Run weekly cross-team meetings and drive decisions, accountability, and follow-through.
- Create and maintain launch plans, schedules, trackers, and communication systems for multiple simultaneous initiatives.
- Spot risks, delays, and priority conflicts early and bring practical solutions rather than only escalating issues.
- Adapt quickly to shifting priorities and last-minute changes while keeping work moving.
- Give leadership concise, proactive updates and highlight decisions that need attention.
- Improve marketing processes, systems, and workflows so the team can work faster without lowering quality.
- Focus on outcomes as well as tasks, making sure projects land successfully and the customer journey stays strong from first touch to enrollment.
What They’re Looking For
The ideal candidate can absorb a brand voice quickly and accurately, noticing the fine details that make content sound consistent and polished. You should be comfortable switching between high-level campaign thinking and line-by-line quality checks. Strong marketing judgment is important, especially for spotting weak messaging, off-brand language, unclear positioning, or low-quality content before it reaches leadership.
You’ll need to handle several projects at once, stay organized under pressure, and keep both leadership and teammates informed in the right way at the right time. The company values someone who takes initiative, diagnoses problems, suggests solutions, and acts quickly rather than waiting for permission.
Bonus Experience
- Background in online education, coaching, or digital products.
- Experience working in a founder-led business or closely with a CEO, CMO, or visionary leader.
- Strong copyediting, content quality assurance, and brand voice refinement ability.
- Experience managing launches, webinars, virtual events, or enrollment campaigns.
- Familiarity with Monday.com, Keap, HubSpot, ActiveCampaign, ConvertKit, or similar tools.
- Use of AI tools to improve project management, content workflows, QA, or operational efficiency.
- Experience building SOPs, workflows, and scalable systems.
- Understanding of customer journeys, marketing funnels, and conversion-focused campaigns.
Work Schedule and Conditions
This role is fully remote, but availability is required during normal business hours of roughly 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Pacific Time, with about a two-hour flexibility window either way depending on your time zone. Some evening and weekend work will be needed during launches and events. A reliable, up-to-date computer is required.
Compensation and Perks
The annual salary range for this role is $70,000 to $80,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
- Flexible PTO for work-life balance
- Flexible summer work schedule
- Paid holidays
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance
- Employer-sponsored retirement plans
- Educational stipend for professional growth
