About the Role
This position as a Corporate Communications Executive involves managing and executing internal and regional communication strategies within a manufacturing industry context. The role supports brand promotion, content creation, and regional communication projects while facilitating coordination between offices across regions and with external vendors.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and oversee publication of regional newsletters, e-newsletters, and other internal communication outputs, handling content collection, editing, translation, proofreading, and scheduling.
- Work closely with regional offices and external vendors to ensure timely and quality publication, including arranging printing and distribution logistics as well as managing corporate gifts delivery.
- Generate compelling content such as articles, interviews, photography, videos, and presentations to enhance employee engagement and promote company initiatives.
- Collaborate with digital communications teams and regional offices to develop multi-channel communication materials.
- Support brand strategy implementation by providing guidance on brand-related queries, organizing brand workshops and roundtable discussions.
- Maintain communication consistency through coordination with the Japan Brand Communications Headquarters and regional teams.
- Track communication effectiveness by preparing performance and analytics reports for newsletters.
- Support corporate social responsibility initiatives and other communication projects, including drafting press releases, creating communication materials, and compiling post-event reports.
- Assist with coordination of regional communication projects and perform additional tasks delegated by the Corporate Communications Manager.
Qualifications and Skills
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, including strong writing, editing, and proofreading abilities.
- Japanese language proficiency (spoken and written) is beneficial but not mandatory for effective liaison with Japan Headquarters.
- Experience in content creation such as photography, video production, or graphic design is advantageous.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required; familiarity with design software like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms is preferred.
- Minimum educational qualification: Diploma in Communications, Marketing, Design, or related fields.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in Corporate Communications, Internal Communications, Marketing Communications, Public Relations, or related roles.
Additional Information
The role offers a monthly salary of up to SGD 3800, including annual wage supplements and variable bonuses. Post-probation, a hybrid work model is in place requiring three days in-office work and two days remote work weekly.
