About the Role
A 12-month fixed term opportunity is available for a Graduate Marketing Assistant to join a reputable pharmaceutical company situated in West London. This position involves hybrid working, requiring at least three days per week at the company’s site, with a weekly workload of 35 hours, Monday to Friday. The role provides exposure to a commercial healthcare setting focused on innovative therapies within the rare disease domain, specifically supporting the SMA Gene Therapy team in a product launch environment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead and assist in projects aligned with brand strategies, such as organizing and coordinating congresses.
- Support the creation and management of marketing collateral.
- Provide analytical support activities including launch plan analysis, key opinion leader engagement, brand and sales planning, and campaign performance tracking.
- Handle budget preparation, monitoring, and management.
- Manage relationships and engagement with vendors and suppliers.
- Oversight of purchase orders, goods receipt processes, and financial reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance adherence during campaign execution and document approval, maintaining alignment with Standard Operating Procedures and corporate guidelines.
- Manage withdrawal, re-certification, and archiving of marketing materials as necessary.
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts with healthcare professionals, agencies, and third parties, including confidentiality agreements.
- Coordinate disclosure processes related to healthcare professional payments.
- Organize and manage team meetings, maintain documentation and records, and arrange logistics for departmental events.
- Promote effective communication channels to provide timely support for field teams.
Candidate Requirements
- Degree qualification in Life Sciences, Business, Marketing, or a related discipline obtained within the last two years from a UK university.
- A strong desire and commitment to gaining experience in a commercial pharmaceutical context.
- Full legal eligibility to work in the UK.
- Preferred but not required: prior experience in UK healthcare, pharmaceutical, or marketing environments.
- Transferable business skills including time management and effective teamwork demonstrated through employment, academic pursuits, or extracurricular engagements.
