Role overview
Blue Legal is working with a specialist law firm that is expanding and looking to hire a Marketing Assistant. This position suits a creative, proactive marketer who can contribute to a busy team and help deliver digital campaigns, content, social media activity and marketing automation work. The role is mainly remote, but there will be occasional travel to the London or Birmingham office for meetings and collaboration.
Key responsibilities
- Administer and keep HubSpot up to date, covering CRM tasks, email campaigns, workflow setup, contact segmentation and landing page builds.
- Assist with webinar promotion and delivery, including registration processes, email comms and automated follow-up journeys.
- Design marketing collateral and digital creative using tools such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop and/or Illustrator.
- Run and expand social media activity, especially on LinkedIn, and adapt content for use across different platforms.
- Edit and create video assets for campaigns using software such as CapCut or Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Develop and improve email nurture programmes, reviewing results and spotting ways to enhance performance.
- Handle several marketing tasks at once while keeping work on schedule and aligned with wider business goals.
Candidate profile
Applicants should already have experience in a marketing position, preferably gained in professional services, legal, financial services or a B2B setting. The ideal person will have strong design and content creation ability, experience with Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite, and a portfolio that demonstrates their work. Familiarity with HubSpot or a similar CRM/marketing automation tool is important, along with strong communication and organisational skills.
Additional information
This is a predominantly remote position with occasional travel to either the London or Birmingham office for meetings and team working sessions.
