About the Role
We are seeking a Marketing and Events Manager based in the United States to lead global event marketing efforts in a dynamic, collaborative environment. This role combines strategic oversight, creative development, and operational management of both virtual and live events to boost brand prominence and aid business expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and execute a diverse range of global events such as conferences, trade shows, webinars, regional engagements, and client meetings.
- Manage logistics including venue selection, vendor coordination, registrations, travel arrangements, promotional collateral, budgeting, and follow-up activities.
- Collaborate closely with sales teams, executives, and other key stakeholders to align and support event strategies.
- Utilize marketing technology platforms like HubSpot, Salesforce, and event monitoring tools for campaign tracking and reporting.
- Work with marketing teams to integrate event efforts into wider multi-channel marketing campaigns.
- Create and oversee event content, promotional materials, social media assets, and corresponding creative campaigns alongside internal teams.
- Coordinate onsite event operations covering setup, attendee engagement, booth/session management, vendor liaison, and event closure.
- Innovate and improve event experiences through creative problem-solving and new approaches across the event lifecycle.
- Ensure all communications and materials conform to brand guidelines and industry regulations.
- Perform post-event evaluations to measure success, highlight improvements, and offer actionable insights.
- Maintain strong partnerships internally and externally while juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years' practical experience managing B2B marketing events and initiatives.
- Proven track record with planning and executing conferences, trade shows, webinars, and client-focused events.
- Proficient with social media channels including LinkedIn and marketing automation platforms.
- Hands-on experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, and other marketing/sales technologies.
- Excellent project management skills, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple tasks concurrently.
- Strong communication abilities in both written and verbal formats with a flair for compelling marketing content creation.
- Ability to foster trusted relationships with senior leaders and cross-department teams.
- Self-driven with initiative and ability to produce results in a rapidly evolving environment.
- Industry experience in pharmaceuticals, healthcare, or life sciences strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Asana or Microsoft Teams is advantageous.
- Experience with digital event management platforms is a plus.
- Willing to travel occasionally to support major industry events.
