Join Pax8 in New Zealand as a Marketing & Events Coordinator and help deliver impactful events and campaigns that support an AI-driven cloud marketplace and partner network. This is a practical, varied position where marketing, events, content, and coordination all come together.
The role suits someone who enjoys working in a fast-moving, high-growth setting, where new ideas, creativity, and adaptability are valued. You’ll contribute to bringing the brand to life through flagship events, partner activities, and campaign execution across New Zealand.
Why this opportunity stands out
Pax8 is moving toward an AI-powered future, so the work here is not just about delivering events and marketing assets, but also about growing with new tools, smarter workflows, and evolving technology. If you like variety, momentum, and making a visible contribution early in your career, this role offers that platform.
What you will do
- Support the planning and delivery of major New Zealand events, roadshows, and community gatherings.
- Handle event logistics such as venue coordination, suppliers, run sheets, and branded collateral.
- Be present onsite to help ensure events run smoothly from start to finish.
- Assist with the rollout of marketing campaigns from planning through execution.
- Keep marketing projects moving in line with deadlines and priorities.
- Prepare and manage presentation materials for events and partner-facing sessions.
- Maintain consistency in messaging, visuals, and brand standards across all materials.
- Coordinate social media content tied to events and campaigns.
- Work with content and design teams to produce engaging digital assets.
- Monitor engagement and help identify what content performs best.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Creative, and Operations teams on shared initiatives.
- Align regional activity with business goals and partner expectations.
- Manage event merchandise, travel arrangements, and inventory coordination.
- Support webinars, partner education sessions, and internal programmes.
What you will bring
- Hands-on experience assisting with marketing, campaigns, or events.
- Strong organisation and the ability to juggle several priorities at once.
- An eye for detail and a commitment to polished, consistent brand delivery.
- Comfort working with multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Additional experience with social media or event-related content is an advantage.
- Confidence using tools such as PowerPoint and working in digital collaboration environments.
- A proactive attitude, curiosity, and willingness to learn.

This role offers strong opportunities for progression. You may grow within the position or move into other opportunities across the global organisation. Pax8 also provides access to internal development resources, specialist learning support, AI-powered tools, mentors, and cross-regional collaboration to help build capability and expand perspective.
Benefits
- 20 annual leave days, accrued monthly.
- An extra 10 days of bonus leave each year.
- Private health insurance.
- Access to learning and development programmes with strong support for internal promotion.
- Donation matching, DEI events, and employee resource groups.
Eligibility
Applicants should hold the valid right to work in New Zealand. Pax8 welcomes candidates who may not meet every listed criterion and encourages people with transferable skills and diverse perspectives to apply.
Hiring and background checks
Pax8 uses safeguards during recruitment to help confirm authenticity and reduce fraud. Applications may be reviewed with the support of AI-enabled tools, though hiring decisions are made by people. Candidates may opt out of AI support at any stage of the process.
Successful candidates will be asked to complete pre-employment checks, which may include identity verification, reference checks, qualification checks, and in some cases additional screening such as criminal or financial checks depending on the country. These checks are handled by a third-party provider, and candidates receive a copy of the results.
