About the Role
If you have a passion for baking and experience either as a trained baker or working in a bakery or professional kitchen, this role offers a fantastic chance to demonstrate your skills. As the Market Street Baker, you will be the face of the fresh bakery in the store, engaging with customers and ensuring they enjoy a welcoming experience.
Key Duties
- Build customer trust by ensuring the availability of quality, fresh bakery products.
- Maintain attractive, fresh food displays throughout the day to boost sales.
- Prepare a selection of bakery items—bread, rolls, doughnuts, and fruited products—following company specifications and utilizing baking equipment such as provers, ovens, and mixers.
- Provide friendly, helpful service that removes obstacles for customers and highlights the traditional baking skills and fresh offerings.

About You
- Friendly and supportive with a passion for exceeding customer expectations.

- Skilled in handling various bakery equipment while upholding high Health & Safety standards.
- Experienced in baking, including mixing and shaping dough.
- Willing to work flexibly across different fresh food counters to meet customer needs.
