Role overview
Acuity Analytics is looking for a Market Risk Analyst in Pune to support model validation, model risk governance, and risk reporting work for financial institution clients. The role sits within a global, technology-led business that combines financial-services expertise with analytics, engineering, and AI capabilities.
What you will do
- Carry out end-to-end model validation and review activities in line with the client’s model risk management framework, checking how a model is used, whether its purpose is appropriate, whether the design is conceptually robust, and whether the data, documentation, and control setup are sound.
- Share findings through formal validation reports and presentations for model owners and senior stakeholders.
- Document analyses, scripts or code, and assessment outcomes in a clear way so the work can be reproduced and independently reviewed.
- Keep supporting evidence organized for remediated items and edge-case testing so it is ready for future reviews, audits, and regulatory inspections.
- Help maintain the model inventory and contribute to the broader model risk governance process.
- Conduct ad hoc analytical work, typically statistical, on back-testing results or simulated performance data.
- Assist with presentations and reporting for risk committee forums.
