Job description
About FRAMECAD
FRAMECAD is working to reshape how buildings are delivered. Instead of traditional timber framing that is cut on site by increasingly scarce tradespeople, the company promotes steel framing designed in software and produced in a factory environment. This approach is faster, more precise, less dependent on weather, and designed for modern construction needs.
The FRAMECAD ecosystem brings together design software, roll-forming machines, production management, components, and support into one connected workflow from digital file to finished structure. With nearly 40 years of experience and technology used in more than 120 countries, the business is expanding rapidly as offsite manufacturing gains momentum worldwide.
Role Overview
FRAMECAD is looking for a capable Market Analyst to help the business decide where to focus its growth efforts. The role is centered on identifying the most promising markets, selecting the right customer segments, and turning market signals into clear, evidence-based guidance for action.
The position also involves making better use of the company’s internal data across CRM systems, business platforms, and market sources. Working closely with Marketing, Sales, Product, and Finance, you will highlight the insights that matter and ensure decision-makers can use them effectively.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this role sits at the intersection of go-to-market planning and broader business strategy. It suits someone who takes initiative, identifies gaps without waiting to be asked, and brings clarity through analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess growth opportunities in different markets and size the potential in each one.
- Track competitors and convert competitive findings into useful business insight.
- Define and refine market segments and ideal customer profiles.
- Analyse internal and external business data to generate actionable recommendations.
- Support product-related decisions with research and evidence.
- Carry out customer research and gather insight from interviews and other primary research methods.
- Monitor industry developments, trends, and shifts that may affect strategy.
- Build target account lists to support sales and marketing planning.
Skills and Experience
- 3 to 5 years of experience in market research, market intelligence, business analysis, or another analytics-focused role, preferably in B2B, industrial technology, or SaaS.
- Strong capability with CRM data, sales data, industry reports, and primary research methods.
- Experience conducting structured interviews and drawing together qualitative findings.
- Hands-on knowledge of TAM, SAM, SOM analysis, market sizing, and opportunity evaluation.
- Ability to build dashboards and strategic reports using Power BI or similar platforms such as Tableau or Looker.
- Skilled at simplifying complex information and presenting it clearly in plain language.
- Familiarity with segmentation frameworks and competitive positioning approaches.
- HubSpot or Salesforce experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Comfortable using AI tools to assist with research and analysis.
What We Offer
The role comes with the opportunity to work alongside a strong team in a modern office setting. Benefits include a competitive base salary, an on-site gym, KiwiSaver support, regular catering and refreshments, and the backing needed to succeed in the position.
