Marine Operations Manager

About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned Marine Operations Manager to take charge of a fleet of DP2 Offshore Support Vessels working throughout the GCC. This position calls for deep hands-on exposure to offshore marine operations, customer coordination, vessel performance oversight, and project delivery, along with a solid grasp of the offshore oil and gas market in the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily running of DP2 offshore support vessels such as AHTS, DSV, PSV, MPSV and similar units.
• Ensure vessel operations remain safe, efficient, and economical while meeting international and client-specific standards.
• Act as a point of coordination with major offshore clients including Saudi Aramco, Qatar Energy, ADNOC, and other GCC operators.
• Handle operational budgets, including OPEX, as well as capital spending plans and CAPEX.
• Guide newbuild projects from design assessment and construction through delivery, commissioning, and final acceptance.
• Organize vessel mobilization and demobilization, along with inspections, audits, and certification activities.
• Track vessel performance, fleet utilization, maintenance planning, and key operational KPIs.
• Collaborate with technical, commercial, crewing, and HSE teams to keep operations aligned and effective.
• Build and sustain productive relationships with clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
• Contribute to tendering by providing operational insight and evaluating vessel capabilities.

Qualifications & Experience

A Master Mariner or Chief Engineer Certificate of Competency will be considered a strong advantage. The role requires at least 10 years of experience in offshore marine operations, with demonstrated background in managing DP2 offshore support vessels.

This role is based in Doha, Qatar and is a full-time, onsite position.
