Role Overview

We are looking for a meticulous and proficient Tile Setter to become part of our production team. This position involves installing tile surfaces within modular building units, guaranteeing durable, aesthetically pleasing, and top-notch finishes within a controlled factory setting.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and install tiles along with grout application.
• Set up required equipment on-site following established procedures.
• Utilize measurement instruments to ensure precise installation and alignment.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying adhesives.
• Complete leveling, anchoring, and alignment tasks.
• Inspect finished work to maintain quality and uniformity.
• Ensure all installations comply with safety protocols and company standards.
• Maintain tools and equipment ensuring a clean and organized workspace.
• Strictly adhere to safety guidelines and internal company policies.
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve production targets.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum two years of experience in tile installation.
• At least one year of experience with grouting.
• Preferred ability to interpret basic drawings and layout plans.
• Competence in using measurement tools accurately.
• Familiarity with tile installation equipment.
• Understanding of tile installation techniques, materials, and adhesives.
• Capable of lifting loads between 50 to 75 pounds and performing physically demanding work for long periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to follow instructions and comply with safety standards.
• Can work effectively both independently and within a team setting.
