About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and maintain specialized equipment such as shot peen, media finishing, and balancing machinery.
- Execute basic troubleshooting procedures on machines to ensure operational efficiency.
- Adhere strictly to established work instructions and procedural guidelines.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain 6S lean manufacturing principles daily to foster a safe and organized workplace environment.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support various manufacturing processes.
- Engage actively in Environment, Health & Safety programs, taking personal responsibility for compliance.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including CORE (Customer Oriented Results & Excellence) activities and other supervisor-assigned tasks.
Required Qualifications
- NITEC certification in Precision Engineering, Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Minimum two years of hands-on experience with shot peening, media finishing, and balancing processes.
- At least two years of relevant experience in manufacturing, precision engineering, or machining environments.
- Proficiency in using tools and equipment associated with the role with a hands-on approach.
- Ability to comprehend technical instructions and follow standard operating procedures accurately.
- Detail-oriented with a meticulous approach to work.
- Willingness to commit to permanent night shifts and work overtime as necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience and knowledge in conventional machining, peening, and inspection methodologies.
- Familiarity with operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).
- Background in aerospace manufacturing or precision engineering sectors.
