Job description

Role Overview

We are hiring an Operator II / Technician for a leading manufacturing organization in Singapore. This role is a strong fit for fresh ITE graduates, applicants with internship exposure, those with relevant certifications, and candidates with experience in manufacturing or production who want to grow their careers in an assembly and production setting.

The position calls for someone with elementary troubleshooting ability, good computer handling, sharp attention to detail, and comfort working in a rotating shift-based factory environment.

Work Schedule

  • 12-hour shifts for 2 days each week
  • 8-hour shifts for 3 days each week

Compensation

Monthly pay ranges from SGD 2,200 to SGD 2,800, along with a shift allowance of SGD 300 to SGD 400 and CPF contributions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with day-to-day production and manufacturing activities.
  • Carry out established procedures, work instructions, and operating steps as directed.
  • Use production equipment and tools in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Support assembly work and other manufacturing tasks.
  • Handle basic technical issue diagnosis and initial troubleshooting.
  • Help with software setup, updates, and routine system checks when needed.
  • Refer complicated technical problems to senior technicians or supervisors.
  • Carry out simple calculations related to output and yield.
  • Keep production logs, records, and reports accurate and up to date.
  • Observe quality standards and operational requirements.
  • Follow safety practices, manufacturing rules, and workplace policies.
  • Use production tools, systems, and documentation properly.
  • Maintain productivity while working with limited supervision.
  • Coordinate with supervisors and coworkers to meet output goals.
  • Contribute to improvement efforts and team activities.
  • Communicate clearly and work well within a team.

Qualifications

  • Education at O-Level, SPM, or an equivalent level is required.
  • Fresh ITE graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Applicants with 0 to 1 year of work experience are preferred.
  • Internship exposure, certification, or relevant manufacturing experience will also be considered.
  • Candidates with prior manufacturing background are especially desirable.

Skills and Tools

The role requires basic troubleshooting, computer literacy, Microsoft Excel, familiarity with software installation and updates, and a working understanding of manufacturing processes.
