About the Role
Stryker is seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Operator to join their Macroom facility in County Cork, Ireland. The role involves executing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to manufacturing, inspecting, or packaging medical devices, ensuring high-quality products are produced within a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce, package, and label medical products as per SOPs in a collaborative team setting.
- Conduct inspections of components using precise measuring tools to verify adherence to engineering standards.
- Maintain accurate production records and equipment maintenance logs.
- Uphold excellent housekeeping standards within the work area.
- Comply fully with all Health and Safety policies and practices.
- Perform final inspections, including finished goods checks and Device History Record (DHR) reviews.
- Demonstrate safe working habits, proper equipment usage, product verification, and comply with Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), line clearance, and 5 pillars standards.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum education equivalent to Leaving Certificate, Trade qualification, or similar.
- Prior experience in a regulated manufacturing machine setting is advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong communication abilities.
- Willingness to work designated shifts: Morning shift from 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM (Monday-Thursday) and 5:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Fridays, or Evening shift from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM (Monday-Thursday) and 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Fridays.
Compensation and Benefits
The hourly wage for this position in Macroom is €16.87. Stryker emphasizes transparency in compensation to empower candidates' decisions.
