Job description
Role overview
This opportunity is for a Manual QA Engineer focused on web and CRM products in the United States. The role supports a partner company, which handles the application review and all follow-up steps.
You will help maintain the quality, stability, and responsiveness of digital products used by a large international audience. The work spans web applications, internal CRM tools, email campaigns, and push notification flows. In this role, you will partner with product managers and engineers to improve product quality, support release readiness, and identify risks throughout the development cycle.
What you'll do
- Review business and technical needs and turn them into practical test cases and testing scenarios for new features and product updates.
- Carry out hands-on testing for web products, including functional, regression, smoke, usability, and UI/UX checks.
- Validate internal CRM platforms to confirm they remain stable, accurate, and fully usable.
- Check email campaign behavior and push notification delivery across different systems and environments.
- Perform API validation with tools such as Postman, Swagger, or similar software, covering both expected and edge-case behavior.
- Use browser developer tools to troubleshoot issues, inspect logs, examine network requests, and spot console errors.
- Evaluate release and testing risks, and contribute quality input during sprint and planning discussions.
- Write clear bug reports with reproduction steps, severity, and supporting evidence.
- Work closely with product, development, and other stakeholders to support successful launches.
- Help improve QA standards, documentation, and testing processes over time.
What we're looking for
- At least 2 years of manual QA experience centered on web applications.
- Direct experience testing CRM systems, customer-facing platforms, email campaigns, and notification workflows.
- Solid understanding of SDLC/STLC, testing approaches, and test design methods.
- Practical experience with API testing tools such as Postman, Swagger, or comparable tools.
- Experience creating and maintaining test cases, test plans, and defect records in Jira or similar systems.
- Familiarity with databases and data checks using tools like MongoDB, BigQuery, DataGrip, or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of Git workflows and code review practices.
- Understanding of CI/CD and deployment pipelines.
- Experience reading logs and troubleshooting issues with monitoring or diagnostic tools.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving ability.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate well across teams.
- Comfort handling several priorities in a fast-moving product environment.
Nice to have
- Exposure to test automation tools or automation frameworks.
- Experience reducing repetitive QA work through automation, test data generation, or database querying.
- Some familiarity with scripting or programming languages used in testing.
- Experience helping improve QA strategy or optimize team processes.
Benefits and perks
- Remote-friendly setup with flexible working arrangements.
- 20 days of paid vacation each year.
- 15 paid sick days annually.
- Additional paid leave for family-related occasions.
- Extra paid time off for public holidays.
- Full medical insurance coverage.
- Reimbursement for sports and wellness activities.
- Financial and legal support services.
- Modern equipment provided, or reimbursement for personal work tools.
- Access to training, learning programs, and English language courses.
- Individual Development Plans and growth opportunities based on performance.
- Corporate library, knowledge-sharing sessions, and learning communities.
- Supportive team culture with experienced colleagues and mentorship.
- Team events, recognition initiatives, and company-sponsored activities.
