About the Organization
Red Sea Coastal Trading Company is the supply chain and logistics arm of Red Sea Global. It supports the smooth flow of materials, equipment, and services across a range of pioneering developments, with operations centered on one of Saudi Arabia’s most ambitious regenerative tourism initiatives.
The business provides complete supply chain coverage, including procurement assistance, transport coordination, inventory control, warehouse oversight, and final-mile delivery to remote locations along the Red Sea coast and nearby areas. The team works with a strong emphasis on efficiency, dependability, sustainability, and local value creation.
Role Purpose
The Site Manager is responsible for managing both hard and soft facilities management services at the new Central Distribution Centre. The position is designed to keep the site safe, compliant, and highly efficient in support of nonstop supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the management of industrial HVAC and air-conditioning systems, including servicing, repairs, and performance monitoring.
- Oversee fire and life safety systems such as alarms, sprinklers, firefighting equipment, and suppression systems, ensuring alignment with local regulations.
- Coordinate preventive and corrective upkeep for site infrastructure, dock levelers, lighting, and backup generators.
- Manage external engineering vendors to ensure repairs are completed quickly, effectively, and with minimal disruption to operations.
- Supervise cleaning services for the warehouse, office spaces, and staff welfare areas to maintain high hygiene standards.
- Direct waste handling processes for industrial, recyclable, and general waste in line with environmental rules and sustainability objectives.
- Oversee pest control activities suitable for a large logistics facility.
- Ensure external areas, including loading bays, parking zones, and perimeter spaces, remain safe and well maintained.
- Act as the main contact for health, safety, and environmental audits.
- Ensure contractors complete risk assessments and method statements before work begins.
- Maintain organized documentation for statutory compliance, permits, and maintenance records.
- Manage the site’s annual FM operating budget and support capital expenditure planning.
- Review contractor billing, negotiate service agreements, and identify opportunities to reduce costs.
- Respond promptly to site emergencies, including situations outside standard working hours.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- At least 10 years of experience in facilities management, ideally in large logistics centers, manufacturing facilities, or distribution warehouses.
- Strong technical knowledge of industrial HVAC systems, fire and life safety requirements, and building management systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Professional FM certifications such as ISO, IWFM, IFMA, or NEBOSH are considered an advantage.
- Demonstrated leadership in guiding technical teams and soft-service contractors.
- Ability to handle operational issues quickly and effectively in emergency situations.
