Position Overview
This role leads the strategy and execution of the company's employment branding and talent acquisition initiatives. The Manager collaborates with business leaders, hiring managers, and HR partners to satisfy workforce needs efficiently while guiding a team of Talent Acquisition Partners. Responsibilities include ensuring conformity with employment laws, refining hiring processes, and personally managing critical recruitment projects when necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee implementation of Airbus U.S. Space & Defense's employment brand and recruitment strategy under HR management guidance.
- Work alongside HR, hiring managers, and leadership to establish and maintain talent acquisition policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with communications and leadership teams to define and promote the employee value proposition.
- Analyze workforce data and talent metrics to provide actionable insights and recruitment recommendations.
- Recruit, train, and coach the Talent Acquisition team to enhance productivity and candidate experience.
- Directly engage in screening, selecting, and onboarding candidates for assigned roles.
- Delegate requisitions to team members and monitor their progress, addressing any challenges faced.
- Ensure compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity policies across all recruitment activities.
- Monitor recruitment KPIs, including time-to-hire, cost-effectiveness, sourcing channels, and satisfaction metrics; suggest improvements.
- Provide market intelligence to Compensation & Benefits leadership.
- Promote the Airbus employment brand via job boards, fairs, industry relations, campus outreach, and social media channels.
- Manage relationships with external recruiting agencies and partners, especially for executive or technical hires and diversity-focused initiatives.
- Travel as required up to 25% for stakeholder engagement and recruitment events.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- At least 10 years in internal or agency recruitment, with a preference for 3+ years in a leadership role within recruiting.
- Preferred advanced degree such as Master's or MBA.
- Certifications such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR are advantageous.

Additional Information
- U.S. citizenship is mandatory with eligibility to obtain security clearance.
- Physical capabilities include carrying, lifting, pushing/pulling items up to 20 lbs, standing, sitting for long periods, occasional squatting/kneeling, walking on varied surfaces, and ability to travel on short notice.
