Job description

Role overview

This position is focused on accelerating enterprise growth by uncovering new opportunities, forming strategic collaborations, and widening the organization's base of enterprise clients. The role combines revenue generation, management of major accounts, ownership of the sales process, and relationship building with senior business customers to support company goals.

Business development

  • Spot, assess, and actively chase new opportunities in the enterprise market.
  • Create and roll out business development plans that help grow revenue and increase market reach.
  • Develop strong connections with potential clients, partners, and key people in the industry.
  • Study market shifts, client requirements, and competitor moves to uncover areas for growth.

Sales management

  • Oversee the complete sales journey, from bringing in leads through to signing the contract.
  • Keep the sales funnel active and healthy so revenue goals are achieved or surpassed.
  • Build and present persuasive proposals, presentations, and commercial offers.
  • Handle negotiations and assist with finalizing contracts for enterprise customers.

Enterprise account management

  • Create and sustain productive relationships with major enterprise accounts.
  • Learn the customer's business challenges and connect solutions to their long-term objectives.
  • Support customer retention, expansion within accounts, and cross-sell / up-sell opportunities.
  • Act as a dependable advisor for senior leaders and decision-makers.

Strategic planning and market expansion

  • Design account plans and market-entry approaches for target industries.
  • Seek out partnership and alliance opportunities that support business growth.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to shape customer-focused solutions and clear value propositions.

Cross-functional collaboration

  • Partner with Product, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Delivery teams to ensure smooth customer engagement and service delivery.
  • Contribute to go-to-market planning and sales campaign execution.
  • Ensure that closed opportunities are handed over effectively to implementation and delivery teams.

Reporting and performance management

  • Prepare forecasts, pipeline summaries, and business development progress reports.
  • Track results against targets and key performance indicators.
  • Keep CRM records updated and share regular management reporting.
