The company combines deep industry experience with a forward-looking approach, serving travelers who expect highly tailored, premium journeys. Its expertise spans custom travel planning and luxury cruise experiences, including private villas and high-end ocean and river voyages. The organization values trust, excellence, and the idea that outstanding client service starts with outstanding people.

Role summary

The Manager, People and Culture will own and support the employee experience across the organization. This includes hiring, onboarding, performance support, employee relations, and engagement. The position is full-time and hybrid, based in Toronto, Ontario, with a mix of office presence and work-from-home flexibility. Occasional travel to the Mississauga corporate office is required.

  • Strengthen employee engagement and help maintain a culture grounded in trust.
  • Plan and deliver internal communications such as newsletters and similar updates.
  • Identify and implement better ways of working, including practical use of technology and AI where relevant.
  • Support employee relations by coaching, counseling, and where necessary disciplining employees, while also advising managers on related matters.
  • Handle employee questions about HR policies, benefits, and workplace procedures.
  • Coordinate external HR support providers and collaborate with vendors as needed.

Qualifications and experience

The ideal candidate brings 5 to 7 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in hospitality, luxury travel, or another service-oriented environment. They should have a strong record of managing end-to-end recruitment and creating talent strategies that attract and keep high-performing people. This role also requires someone who can act as a dependable advisor to managers and leaders on performance, relations, and broader people matters. A genuine interest in people and culture is important, along with the ability to shape employee experiences that reflect a premium brand.

Required knowledge and tools
