What the role involves
This is a finance systems consulting role for an experienced Oracle Fusion Finance professional with 7–10 years of background. The assignment calls for at least two Oracle Fusion ERP finance implementations, along with experience across finance module setup, configuration, and support.
The role may be based in Bengaluru, Chennai, or Hyderabad.
Key responsibilities
- Design and support finance systems and processes in line with company policy and accepted industry practices.
- Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure finance applications connect smoothly with other enterprise platforms.
- Coordinate with related functional teams on accounting and financial effects of transactions, SLA rules, and connected processes.
- Handle implementation experience for Oracle Tax modules.
- Apply strong knowledge of accounting standards and related regulatory obligations.
- Set up, configure, and maintain Oracle Fusion Financials modules.
- Create and manage financial reports and dashboards using Oracle OTBI.
- Partner with external vendors and consultants on solution delivery, user training, and testing.
- Provide hypercare and AMS support after go-live.
- Work independently with limited supervision and maintain a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
- Demonstrate a commitment to diversity and equality in the workplace.
- Use MS Excel effectively for finance-related work.
Requirements
- 7–10 years of total experience, with around 8 years preferred for this role.
- At least two implementations in Oracle Fusion ERP finance modules.
- Hands-on exposure to Oracle Fusion Financials, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Lease Accounting, Cash Management, and Tax.
- Practical experience in implementing Oracle Tax modules.
- Good understanding of accounting standards and compliance requirements.
- Ability to configure and support Oracle Fusion finance solutions end to end.
- Capability to develop OTBI-based reports and dashboards.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- BTech qualification required.
