Role Overview
The Manager of North America Trade Communications will be responsible for leading the planning, strategy, and execution of communications aimed at travel advisors, consortia partners, host agencies, trade organizations, and internal B2B stakeholders. Reporting to the Senior Director of Global B2B Strategy Development, this position entails ensuring clear, consistent, and advisor-centric messaging across all trade-related channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement communication strategies, messaging frameworks, and calendars for North American trade channels.
- Establish governance, standards, and priorities for communications across all advisor-facing platforms.
- Convert business objectives into engaging messaging, campaign briefs, and sales enablement materials.
- Lead lifecycle marketing and communication initiatives to improve advisor engagement, lead quality, pipeline, and revenue growth.
- Oversee advisor communications such as newsletters, resource guides, email campaigns, social media communities, portals, training platforms, events, and partner messaging.
- Support Sales and Partnership departments by providing advisor-focused assets and communications that highlight Collette’s value.
- Manage partnerships with trade organizations including sponsorships, events, and related communication outputs.
- Coordinate with internal teams such as Project Management and Creative to deliver campaigns efficiently and on time.
- Analyze communication effectiveness, gather advisor feedback, and track industry trends to refine messaging and engagement tactics.
- Assist with other advisor-focused projects and responsibilities as assigned.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, Journalism, or similar fields.
- 5 to 10+ years of experience in communications, marketing, content strategy, sales enablement, or related disciplines.
- Comprehensive understanding of strategic B2B communications, lifecycle marketing, audience engagement, and sales enablement practices.
- Experience engaging travel advisors, host agencies, consortia, or B2B trade partners, with preferred familiarity in the travel industry.
- Exceptional writing, editing, storytelling, and presentation capabilities.
- A demonstrated ability to develop and manage communication strategies and multi-channel content campaigns.
- Strong project management skills and an ability to manage competing priorities and multiple stakeholders.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms, marketing automation, analytics tools, digital marketing, and AI technologies.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving aptitude, using data insights to continuously improve initiatives.
- Proven interpersonal skills to build relationships and collaborate cross-functionally and externally.
- Knowledge of trade organizations, sponsorships, event activations, and advisor engagement strategies is advantageous.
- Adaptability, innovation, customer orientation, and a passion for supporting advisor success and ongoing development.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary band for this role ranges from $75,000 to $105,000 annually. Employees enjoy a supportive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage, plus a Peloton One membership.
