Manager - IT Solutions Quality Control (UAE Nationals Only)

Job Purpose

This role is responsible for leading the quality control function for ITD projects and systems. The position ensures that testing, assessments, and control processes are effectively designed and maintained so that implementations are delivered successfully, remain compliant with internal governance, and improve over time. The role also requires close coordination across teams to reduce risk and protect the usability, reliability, and overall performance of ITD solutions.

Strategy

• Develop, implement, and regularly update the quality assurance framework and standards used across ITD technology initiatives.
• Ensure that projects moving from development into operations continue to comply with RTA frameworks such as AGF, TQA, and applicable IT governance requirements.

Operations

• Lead and coordinate all QA and testing activities for technology programs and projects, including defining the criteria required for acceptance and handover.
• Work with internal stakeholders to confirm that quality controls are applied consistently through the full project and system lifecycle.
• Perform internal quality reviews covering usability, language checks, compatibility across browsers and devices, and any outstanding items from UAT or earlier ITQC testing.
• Review incident management reports, drive corrective and preventive actions, and oversee risk assessments to reduce the chance of quality or operational issues.

Product and Process Improvement

• Compile and submit regular reports on the quality performance of ITD projects and systems, including trends, risks, and improvement recommendations.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities for service enhancement based on user feedback, audit outcomes, and internal quality reviews.
• Update QA criteria and assessment methods periodically so they stay complete, effective, and aligned with changing operational and organizational requirements.

Qualifications and Requirements

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, information technology, computer science, or quality management. A master’s degree in quality management or IT management is also acceptable.

Experience requirements are 9+ years for candidates with a master’s degree and 11+ years for candidates with a bachelor’s degree.
