About the Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead multidisciplinary teams managing buy-side and sell-side transactions, restructures, and cross-border tax advisory engagements.
  • Perform tax due diligence to identify risks and opportunities, and prepare thorough, insightful reporting and structuring documents.
  • Advise clients on tax implications related to transaction structuring, financial modelling, and integration, ensuring alignment with commercial goals.
  • Drive business growth through preparing presentations, engaging in client discussions, and demonstrating industry-specific tax expertise.
  • Mentor less experienced team members to foster a high-performing, collaborative culture characterized by rigorous quality and risk standards.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in tax consulting, particularly within top-tier firms or comparable environments, with a strong focus on international tax, transaction consulting, and due diligence.
  • Significant corporate income tax compliance experience, especially for multinational organisations.
  • Excellent communication skills capable of simplifying complex tax matters for diverse audiences.
  • Proven project management capabilities overseeing budgets, timelines, deliverables, and team performance.
  • A collaborative, innovative approach, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous learning and building relationships.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification such as in Law, Accounting, or Finance is preferred, complemented by professional certifications like CPA.
