Job description
About Licious
Licious stands as India's premier technology-driven meat and seafood brand, committed to delivering freshness, safety, and delightful experiences. Our robust technology division underpins everything from supply chain operations to customer interaction, characterized by rapid innovation, strong execution, and high standards.
Role Overview
This position is integral to shaping the growth and development of our high-velocity technology division, focusing on driving the people strategy rather than managing routine HR tasks. Reporting to the Director of People Experience, you will function as the dedicated HR Business Partner for an engineering team of over 100 members.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain comprehensive insights into critical roles within the technology organization, including occupant strength and potential successors, ensuring optimal talent placement and rigorous performance evaluation.
- Develop succession pipelines for key positions, routinely review organizational structure to maintain efficient spans of control, appropriate levels, and clear role definitions aligned with business momentum.
- Act as a primary feedback conduit for the engineering workforce by implementing listening strategies, analyzing drivers of engagement and turnover, and collaborating with leaders to address actionable insights.
- Manage feedback cycles and cultivate strong manager-employee relationships to foster an inclusive and valued experience for every team member.
- Collaborate on enhancing leadership capabilities, supporting both new managers and senior leaders through coaching, structured development programs, and accountability measures aligned with corporate leadership standards.
- Serve as the cultural ambassador within the technology group, embedding the organizational values into daily interactions and aiding teams in navigating ongoing change with resilience and motivation.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
- Three to five years of human resources experience, with proven HRBP roles in dynamic, high-growth settings.
- Prior involvement with technology or engineering teams is highly desirable.
- Experienced in meaningful collaboration with managers and executive leaders on complex people management issues beyond mere HR process execution.
Candidate Attributes
- Strong organizational design knowledge to foresee and correct structural inefficiencies affecting performance.
- Comfort and proficiency in leveraging people analytics for insights and strategic influence.
- Proactive mindset with comprehensive ownership to initiate, develop, and improve processes independently.
- Adaptive and resilient approach to managing ambiguity and shifting priorities while maintaining progress and assurance.
- Credible stakeholder engagement skills capable of gaining respect through substance among senior technical professionals.
- Deep interest in workplace culture and commitment to enhancing employee experiences daily.
Educational Background
Possession of an MBA or PGDM in Human Resources is preferred; however, adaptability and eagerness to learn are considered paramount.
Work Environment
Licious fosters a team-oriented culture that values candid communication, initiative-taking, and accelerated development opportunities. The workplace demands rapid problem-solving and meaningful contributions, ideal for individuals energized by a fast-paced environment and challenging projects.
