Overview
Under the leadership of the Division Administrator, this role oversees daily clinical and non-clinical functions and coordinates early intervention services for the Northeastern Early Steps Program. The Manager provides guidance and training to clinical and case management staff, including those not directly reporting to them, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, as well as state and federal regulations and contract terms.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, implement, and assess early intervention services and related programs.
- Maintain precise billing records and client documentation for intervention and case management providers.
- Formulate and propose strategic and operational plans with a focus on cost efficiency and customer service.
- Ensure optimal use of resources such as space, materials, and personnel.
- Manage employee-related activities including recruitment, onboarding, training, counseling, and disciplinary processes within the Early Steps program.
- Regularly facilitate staff meetings to address operational issues, staff concerns, updates on policies, and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the Administrator to achieve program objectives efficiently.
- Guarantee adherence to internal policies and external regulations, including IDEA, AHCA, and professional practice standards.
- Deliver training to internal personnel and external providers.
- Address administrative issues related to clinical case managers and resolve patient complaints.
- Maintain secure communication channels among staff and providers to foster morale and professionalism.
- Protect confidentiality of staff and patient information.
- Implement action plans to address problem areas proactively and participate in goal-setting efforts.
- Represent the program at local and state meetings, as well as organizational and management committees.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants must hold at minimum a bachelor's degree in a relevant field complemented by two years of pertinent experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred candidates possess a master’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Psychology, Education, or Social Work, combined with one year experience working with children aged 0 to 3 years and two years of management or administration expertise.
Alternatively, a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, Psychology, or Social Work along with one year of experience with children 0 to 3 years old and four years of relevant management or administration experience in educational or healthcare settings is acceptable. This experience should include familiarity with billing/reimbursement, staff management, and demonstrated leadership capabilities.
Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

- A Level II Department of Children and Families background check is mandatory.

Salary
The salary range for this role is $65,000 to $75,000 per year.
