Role overview
Calvin Klein is seeking a Manager, Global Brand Experience and Events to plan and deliver a broad mix of global brand experiences and event programs. This role covers runway presentations, brand image events, consumer and retail activations, and key marketing extensions. It also includes governance support for regional and licensee events, along with the creation of seasonal direction materials.
What you'll do
- Own assigned events or event workstreams from start to finish and coordinate closely with the Director(s) throughout delivery.
- Handle event concepting, guest experience, layout and design, venue scouting, agency coordination, vendor selection and management, entertainment, talent hospitality, décor, scenic elements, asset development, food and beverage planning, permits, logistics, contract discussions, schedules, timelines, budgets, and post-event ROI reporting.
- Work with Senior Manager(s) and Director(s) to build event ideas that strengthen the brand and support global marketing priorities.
- Drive collaboration across internal and external stakeholders so events are delivered at the highest standard.
- Prepare stakeholder presentations and detailed agency RFP documents.
- Contribute actively to brainstorming sessions and bring forward practical, creative ideas.
- Monitor industry activity, cultural moments, emerging trends, and brand-relevant opportunities, then share insights with the team.
- Build and maintain relationships with leading agencies, vendors, venues, and creative partners, and help identify new potential partners.
- Work closely with regional and licensee teams to ensure brand consistency and clear execution guidance for local and market-level events.
- Help lead the creation of global directives for regions and licensee partners by translating seasonal marketing priorities into event concepts.
- Manage communication and process flow for regional and licensee initiatives.
- Support and mentor indirect reports and coordinate internal and external teams during event execution.
- Develop project budgets within department guidelines, look for cost efficiencies, and seek preferred pricing where possible.
- Track and process invoices for assigned projects.
What we're looking for
- At least 5 years of experience in lifestyle and/or luxury brand communications or marketing, with a strong events focus.
- Deep understanding of the fashion industry.
- Proven ownership of event projects, including management of agencies, vendors, and production teams.
- Experience building and managing budgets.
- Established relationships with experiential agencies, vendors, and venues.
- Experience working with high-profile talent and influencers.
- Exposure to global teams, regional markets, and/or licensee partners is preferred.
- A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to run multiple projects at once while meeting milestones and deadlines.
- A proactive, solutions-focused, and resourceful working style.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent time management.
- Creative judgment, awareness of cultural trends, and an innovative point of view.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High proficiency in Word, Excel, Keynote, and PowerPoint; Adobe Suite is preferred.
- Comfort working in a collaborative team environment.
