Manager - Finance & Accounts

Role overview

We are looking for an experienced finance professional to take ownership of accounting, financial reporting, planning, and statutory compliance. The role also involves supporting management with financial analysis, budget control, and cash flow monitoring to help keep the business financially sound.

Key responsibilities

• Run day-to-day accounting operations and ensure the books are closed accurately and within the required timelines on a periodic basis.
• Carry out bank reconciliations, manage provisions and accruals, review ledgers, and process vendor and employee payments.
• Handle GST invoicing and related accounting entries.
• Ensure statutory compliance by making timely payments for TDS, professional tax, PF, and other applicable dues, along with filing returns on schedule.
• Prepare the data required for GST and TDS return filing and ensure all payments are made promptly.
• Support tax audits and tax assessments.
• Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly financial statements for management review.
• Make sure accounting practices and financial procedures follow company policies and operating standards.
• Ensure vendors are booked and paid on time.
• Perform TDS reconciliation with Form 26AS.
• Maintain effective working relationships with colleagues by showing initiative, flexibility, cooperation, productivity, and commitment to the finance team.

Skills and qualifications

• Strong hands-on accounting experience in a real estate finance and accounts environment, ideally 6 to 10 years.
• Working knowledge of Tally ERP and strong computer literacy.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Solid understanding of accounting systems and process efficiency.
• Good grasp of core accounting principles and practices.
