Role and Responsibilities
- Oversee production processes, monitor stock of raw materials and finished goods, and report to Raw Material team.
- Collect and verify feed indent requirements and arrange feed according to customer specifications.
- Coordinate with the nutrition department for formulation arrangements.
- Ensure biosecurity measures, cleaning, and housekeeping standards are maintained inside and outside the feed mill.
- Supervise contract labor, inform the contractor to arrange manpower based on production and raw material needs.
- Daily monitoring of feed quality and raw material quality and quantity.
- Inspect machinery conditions; if issues arise, arrange materials through purchase requisitions (PR) and issue requests (IR).
- Follow up on feed production progress on an hourly basis.
- Address emergency requirements with Supply Chain Management and follow up accordingly.
- Monitor customer complaints, resolve issues, and prevent recurrence.
- Ensure registers are updated accurately and approve petty cash vouchers and notifications.
- Arrange substitute formulations, check raw material costs, and report findings to Raw Material team.
- Be accountable for all activities in the feed mill.
Qualifications and Preferences
- Must possess a degree or diploma in any discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience required.
- Willingness to work late evenings, rotational shifts, and weekends to fulfill organizational goals within designated timeframes.
- Preferably male candidates.
