Role Overview
The Creator Community & Event Manager will play a vital role in developing and managing TikTok Shop affiliate programs, creator relations, and brand-driven events that generate millions of impressions. This individual is expected to strategically manage and scale creator programs and lead community-oriented events primarily in Q1 and Q4 of each year.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute, scale, and oversee TikTok Shop affiliate initiatives including creator sourcing, onboarding, creative strategy, commission tracking, and amplifying effective campaigns.
- Manage daily interactions with the TikTok Shop agency, monitor performance, ensure accountability, resolve issues, and coordinate creator strategies.
- Demonstrate hands-on expertise with TikTok Shop mechanics, including affiliate setup, sample handling, showcases, live events, and performance incentives.
- Lead creator seeding campaigns to expand the affiliate network towards hundreds of active members.
- Identify top-performing organic creators for Spark Ads amplification in collaboration with paid media teams.
- Develop and maintain a tiered creator roster on TikTok and Instagram across lifestyle, wellness, mom, and gift guide categories ranging from 100k to 1M followers.
- Manage large-scale gifting and seeding programs with systematic tracking rather than ad hoc distributions.
- Implement Meta whitelisting processes, sourcing creative content, coordinating licensing, and collaborating on dark post amplifications with paid media.
- Execute Spark Ads campaigns on TikTok, determining optimal use between Spark and Whitelisting, coordinating closely with paid media.
- Craft precise yet flexible creator briefs that encourage engaging content through clear messaging, hooks, and format guidance.
- Forge authentic community relationships with creators beyond transactional vendor interactions.
- Initiate and expand a Discord channel for creators featuring regular meetings, contests, and sharing creative insights.
- Assist in the organization and execution of seasonal brand events where creators are the focal audience and content generation is paramount, primarily in Q1 and Q4.
- Approach events as community gatherings: prepare creators beforehand, coordinate activities onsite, and manage post-event content delivery.
- Collaborate with PR teams or agencies to boost media coverage stemming from brand activations.
- Support retail co-marketing efforts linked to seasonal product pushes.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in creator or influencer marketing within fast-growing DTC brands or TikTok-focused agencies.
- Proven success growing TikTok Shop creator/affiliate programs with measurable GMV impact.
- Expertise in devising creator contest strategies and calendars to foster engagement and retention.
- Experience managing external creator agencies or partners with accountability for performance metrics.
- Handled gifting and seeding at scale, supported by organized tracking systems.
- Strong creative strategy and brief writing capabilities, with demonstrable results.
- Practical knowledge executing Meta whitelisting campaigns and TikTok Spark Ads.
- Sharp analytical skills with growth marketing acumen, connecting creator activities to business outcomes.
- Ability to independently manage multiple tasks swiftly and communicate effectively with leadership.
- Deep knowledge of TikTok Shop/Seller Central, creator economy metrics (GMV, EMV, CPM, commission and incentive structures).
- Proficient with tools such as Grin, Aspire, Superfiliate, Cruva, Euka, Kalo, and advertising platforms including Meta Ads Manager and TikTok Ads Manager.
Preferred Attributes
- Existing creator network within lifestyle, wellness, self-care, mom, or gift guide verticals (100k–1M followers) ready to be activated.
- Current TikTok Shop affiliates delivering sales in home, gifting, or comfort categories.
- Understanding of retail and Amazon influencer impacts on search ranking, best seller rank, and product listings.
- Strong familiarity with paid social mechanisms, able to bridge creator content with paid media strategies.
- Experience with seasonal DTC brand event management.
- Existing relationships in public relations or earned media.

Compensation and Benefits
