Role overview
This position sits in the Quality Management Division and focuses on safeguarding the quality and compliance of courses approved under the Training Grant System (TGS). The role combines course accreditation, quality assurance checks, system testing, and engagement with both internal teams and external partners. It supports the broader Continuing Education and Training (CET) ecosystem and contributes to SkillsFuture Singapore’s mission of strengthening training quality in Singapore.
Core responsibilities
- Assess and process course accreditation or approval matters, together with related quality management work in the Training Grant System (TGS).
- Review course materials to confirm alignment with adult learning principles as well as relevant funding rules and SkillsFuture Singapore requirements.
- Manage escalated questions and appeals from the public and training providers, including investigations into possible breaches of the Terms and Conditions for Registered Training Providers (RTPs).
- Build and maintain effective engagement with training partners, government bodies, and industry organisations through structured outreach approaches.
- Act as the main point of contact for external stakeholders, ensuring communication is prompt, clear, and transparent.
- Support testing of system changes and assist with enhancements to TGS where needed to improve workflow and system performance.
- Contribute to divisional and organisation-wide projects, initiatives, and other assigned tasks that help drive ongoing improvement and innovation.
Candidate profile
- Has the capability to perform the assigned duties effectively and with a high level of proficiency.
- Brings at least 3 years of relevant experience, ideally within Continuing Education and Training (CET).
- Communicates well in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Has experience in, or a solid understanding of, adult education in Singapore.
- WSQ Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP) or WSQ Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA) credentials are preferred.
- Can analyse complaints, feedback, and whistleblowing matters with strong investigative and evaluative judgement.
- Has basic to intermediate ability in handling and working with data.
Additional information
This is a 2-year contract role at the outset. Depending on business needs and performance, the appointment may be extended or converted to a permanent position.
