Job Purpose
The role centers on overseeing Regulatory and Statutory compliance activities, except those related to Secretarial functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements utilizing the Legatrix platform.
- Execute internal audits to verify compliance adherence.
- Track and analyze new laws and regulatory updates.
- Deliver precise and timely compliance guidance to stakeholders.
- Maintain proper documentation and mapping of compliance obligations.
- Prepare and present management reports on compliance matters.
- Detect non-compliance risks and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Supervise and approve assignments as delegated by the Manager.
Educational Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in Law (LLB).
- 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in a comparable role.
- Proficiency in using Legatrix, a web-based compliance management tool.
- Prior exposure to the trading industry is considered advantageous.
