Overview
King Salman International Airport (KSIA) is looking to recruit a Manager for Cargo and Logistics Partnerships who will spearhead the creation and management of strategic commercial alliances to advance the airport's cargo and logistics ambitions. The role focuses on uncovering new business prospects, designing robust commercial and financial frameworks, leading contract negotiations, and nurturing enduring relationships with key stakeholders in the industry to enhance KSIA's stature as a premier global cargo hub.
Key Responsibilities
- Craft, implement, and oversee the strategy for cargo and logistics partnerships aligned with KSIA's commercial goals.
- Source, assess, negotiate, and formalize strategic collaborations with airlines, cargo carriers, freight forwarders, logistics firms, e-commerce players, and relevant industry partners.
- Drive commercial negotiations and administrate partnership agreements aimed at maximizing enduring business value and growth sustainability.
- Develop business cases, commercial proposals, complex financial models, and investment evaluations to enable informed strategic decisions.
- Perform comprehensive market research, competitor benchmarking, and analyze industry trends to identify fresh business opportunities.
- Establish and maintain robust and cooperative relationships with strategic partners to ensure lasting engagement.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to guarantee effective execution and delivery of partnership programs.
- Track partnership outcomes against defined KPIs and propose ongoing enhancements for continual improvement.
- Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations, detailed reports, and strategic advisories for senior management.
- Act as KSIA's representative at sector conferences, industry forums, and stakeholder engagements to reinforce the cargo and logistics ecosystem.
Qualifications
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Aviation Management, Marketing, or a closely related discipline.
- A Master's degree or professional certifications in Logistics, Aviation, or Supply Chain Management will be advantageous.
Experience and Skills
- At least 6 years’ proven experience within cargo, logistics, aviation, commercial partnerships, or business development sectors.
- Established track record in forming and managing strategic partnerships alongside leading commercial negotiations.
- In-depth knowledge of air cargo operations, logistics services, supply chain dynamics, and freight market landscapes.
- Experience collaborating with airlines, cargo operators, freight forwarders, logistics providers, or airport management entities.
- Capable of managing cross-functional stakeholders effectively to deliver commercial projects.
- Highly developed analytical, financial modeling, communication, presentation, and negotiation capabilities.
- English language fluency, both verbal and written, is mandatory for this position.
