About the role
As a Key Account Manager (all genders) for PLM, you will oversee the full sales journey for the company’s service offering — from the first approach to a successful close. The position focuses on building and developing strong client relationships, spotting opportunities early, and driving revenue growth through strategic account management.
Key responsibilities
- Manage every stage of the sales cycle for the service portfolio, starting with initial outreach and ending with deal closure.
- Build durable relationships with customers, partners, and colleagues across the valantic group.
- Identify client needs and business potential early, then translate them into implementation opportunities using the full range of services.
- Coordinate with the team on pricing, proposal creation, and the tracking of offers and contracts.
- Continuously monitor revenue and performance metrics to support company targets.
- Act as the main contact for selected clients and drive cross-selling and upselling opportunities from identification through execution.

- You have several years of experience selling complex, explanation-heavy IT services to mid-market companies, ideally in a PLM environment.
- You are a naturally network-oriented professional with the ability to develop long-term business relationships at C-level.
- Your communication style is confident and relationship-driven, helping you gain access to new stakeholders on the client side.
- You can present a sophisticated service portfolio convincingly to senior decision-makers in both English and German.
- In addition to solid sales expertise, you ideally understand a range of IT landscapes and forward-looking technologies such as PLM, IoT, cloud, and SAP.
